Hi everyone, would love to get some feedback on my idea. I’ve had this boat for a few years it’s been nothing but a headache lol..1988 Grady 204c with a 2003 200 evinrude ficht. Many issues trying to get the motor running well and transom sits very low in the water. I think it’s a great looking boat with potential. So my thoughts are to restore it instead of spending money on a new boat. I’m thinking to close transom in, raise the the floor 3/4” to 1-1/2” and add a bracket. Oh and maybe floor drains? When finished put a newer/brand new motor on it. I’m am a carpenter by trade but never restored a boat so looking for some input. Would it sit right in water, best way to go about work anythings welcome. Thanks again
