Hello all

I am looking to buy a 306 bimini the one I am looking at has twin 225 Yamaha four stokes, is this enough power for her, I fish with four to five plus myself often....?????

If you are going to run the canyons you will appreciate the extra HP with 250 four strokes or the new F300 coming out this summer. Two 225s are like the bottom end HP for your type of use. Keep looking.

Best of success on your hunt.

Had an '06 with 250's. I think was the best match for the boat, but 225's is not that much less. The new 300's will be best for this boat, as to the new ones with F350's, i think makes the boat stern heavy.

I had one w/ the f225s and currently have a 2006 w/ f250s. The 225 were more fuel efficient and just a hair slower out of the hole that the 250. I may consider selling mine in the near future. Either way, you will be fine.

Hello all

Does anyone know of a Grady bimini 306 with no power??? want to put a set of the 350fs on one??????????????

Look for one that is a 2007 or newer. The older ones are only rated for 600 hp.

Mine does 45 trimmed with 3/4 fuel and I have suzuki 225's,16x18.5x3 propps. These are not racing boats and I don't believe you will run a faster cruise than 30 REGARDLESS of what motors you get.We are talking Ocean Water, right? .Although the yammy 225's are weak so I have been told. You will still cruise o.k If you are propped for your usage.

matching bimini 306 to the perfect power??

So from what i am hearing for a bimini 306 a set of 300four strokes seems to be the perfect match??? What are the thoughts out there to that??
