Hi all - I would appreciate some comments on my completed Offshore Pro 240 project and specifically on the new color combination...

No comments or thoughts guys? Is the link working correctly? It only took me a FULL YEAR to get it to this stage.

You did an awesome job! I am not a fan of dark boats myself, but it is cool looking. I think it is so ingrained in me that a Grady White is supposed to be cream color that initially it is color shock (lol). I saw a pale yellow Grady in the Keys, an Express 330 on Key Largo Dry Rocks and it was different, but nice. The important thing here is not whether anybody else likes the boat, it is whether you like her. The work is cool, now go enjoy her.... so where do you live? Those mountains look similar to ours here in the Smokies.

Not a fan of dark hulls either. But who cares what I think. If you lie it it is great.

Thanks for the responses guys. You're spot on, it's all about whether I like the change in the boat and luckily I do. I had questions in my mind about the change all the way through the project, but on the water it really all came together.

I'm based in central Pennsylvania, Harrisburg area, so I will be trailering the boat down to the Jersey coast for my fishing. I recently moved to the USA from South Africa, so trying to get used to the different boating and fishing techniques and locations out here.

First offshore trip is end of this month, hoping I can find some decent fishing locations off Atlantic City...

The color is Sapphire from Interlux Brightsides. It's slightly lighter than the standard Grady blue striping.

Looks great. I especially like your instrument cluster. I see you replaced the old OMC gauges for nice white ones. I did that myself on my 192 tournament. The boat looks great from bow to stern. Good work!

Thanks mboyatt. Te gauges look far enter than the OEM's. Only problem is the trim gauges I found out dont work correctly with Evinrude so they work in reverse... I can live with hat for now though.

I think the lighter color is easier to look clean, i had a dark car once it showed all the dirt.
