I am getting ready to paint my boat with ablative antifouling paint and can't find the color. I am after the very dark blue color that many of the late 90's Grady's have on them. I thought I heard someone mention that many dealers mix the blue paint with some black to achieve the color but I wasn't sure. It seems to be darker than even navy blue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We use Interlux, Micron Extra in the DARK BLUE. Usually two coats over a base coat of Red, so you know when you need to paint again. I think the Interlux number is 5696, with a Q or a G suffix for quart or gallon.

I used the Interlux dark blue also and liked the initial color, but it did seem to fade and chaulk (like it is supposed too). This go round I switched to Petit Vivid in black and it held its color much longer.
