Grady White Parts

Can anyone tell me the best place to get parts for Grady White 283 Release. Looking for the transom hatch latch and a gas shock for the livewell.

On the gas shock there may be a phone number for the maker, there was on mine. They sent me to a seller, who then ordered the shock based on the pounds resistance required. Sorry that I don't recall the name of the seller. I'll repost if I find the receipt.

It was not cheap, $80 for the fish box lid.

Hey guys,

I had good luck with replacing my gas shock arms for 2001 Sailfish 282 hatches through Go2Marine.com . I ordered the 20 lb stainless steel arms first - not strong enough. Returned for 40 lb. These appear to be exactly like my OEM arms.
