Gulfstream outboard weight/HP limit

Hi all,
Not a Grady owner currently, but am interested in a Gulfstream. The one I am looking at is from the max 350HP era, and has been repowered with F150XA's by an authorized Grady dealer/marina. My concern is that these motors weigh ~80-90 lbs more each than the heaviest 175HP 2-stroke available at the time. Am I overthinking this? :hmm I haven't seen the boat yet as it's several hours away, but will be on it Monday morning.

I have a 1992 232g. Have 2 150 4 strokes on her and have no problems. Cruise at 26 knots with full load and 200 gallons of fuel if running offshore.

I think the new 232's have twin 200 4strokes..

Mine is a 2007 and I have twin 200 4-stokes. It's slightly stern-heavy and the scuppers are about 1/2 submerged at rest. I guarantee you it doesn't matter. I am the original owner and have had it for 8 years now; no drainage problems and it runs great.

As legend says, there are many with the twin 150 setup.

What year is the "max 350 era?" My 2007 is rated for 400 HP max.

I'll bet it's ok if an authorized Grady dealer did the install and it's not an older boat. I've read the older models that were originally rigged with 2-strokes have limitations on the weight of a 4-stroke re-power. If your boat is older and falls into that category, more knowledgeable people than me need to chime in.
