Sorry if this has been brought up. I'm relatively new to this forum and have a difficult time searching. (Please tell me how if this is an annoying rehash of a topic).
I have pretty much settled on a 232 Gulfstream or a used Journey 258. The reality in my neck of the woods is I will likely have to go new gulfstream as the used market is pretty limited.
I ONLY have 87 octane gas at both marinas in town. I would prefer to run twin 200's over twin 150's. My question is whether I will damage the 200's if I run 87 the majority of the time. The American marinas will have 89, but that is a long run to get it. So the reality is that this boat will likely be fed with 87 for most of its life.
Thanks for your help.
