If you have a 330 Express with twin F300, what propellers do you run? brand, diameter and pitch if possible.

Repowering from F225, not sure on what propellers to run on the new setup.

I am interested also as I will soon be repowering with F-300’s. I thought about calling the Prop God guy from THT and get his opinion.

Depends on make...Zukes are geared way differently than Yammies...I went from 19 to 23 pich!!

I have the 4.2L F250's (same engine, but different / detuned ECM) and I run the 15" pitch Mercury Thunderbolt (aka Mirage Plus). I would consider the 4 blade Powertech OFS4 in 14" or 15" pitch. I'm thinking about trying those out to see if I can hold plane at lower speeds and possibly increase cruise efficiency.

I bought a 2002 GW 330 which was repowered with 2013 F300s - it came to me with Thunderbolt 15.5 x 17 .

Props seem to perform well - acceleration, bite, etc, is excellent. MPG is not stellar (1 mpg is about normal) and top speed is 41-42 on a good day. Holds plane best in 27-30 mph range.

Curious to hear what others are using, I know from past boat testing that while it's a pain, prop choice makes a tremendous difference all around.

Sorry, I was unclear - my 2002 was repowered in 2013 with four stroke 4.2 F300s, I meant to indicate that *I* haven't done any prop testing on it vs what I bought the boat earlier this year with.

My WOT RPM is a little on the low side but doesn't come up much even trimming the motors way up - off the top of my head 5400 rpm or so. Boat is bottom painted and I'm generally running it medium load, bottom paint is in moderate condition.

I do occasionally see 1.2 mpg at cruise in perfect conditions, but ~1 mpg feels like an honest assesment.

I just bought Power tech OFS4 15.25x15 pitch 4 blade props in June
They are on new Yamaha 300s which are on my 2001 3300 Express boat is bottom painted
I am still breaking in the motors, but by the weekend i should be able to open them up, boat is full of fuel and water.
I can tell you this, we went out for a ride, 11 people, 4200rpms and we were at 32 mph
It felt like it had so much more
After Break in 5500 RPMs at 40 mph, my Yamaha Dealer thinks that if I try to get more RPMs with a different prop I will probably over Rev.
This combination works great, i can stay on plane as low as 3200 RPMs
They bite great, She pops right out of the water, reverse is no problem,
I typically Cruise at 4000rpms at 30 mph with a 1.1 mile per gal thru anything,
