my starboard side window (frame ) is loose where it attaches to the boat...does any one know how its is attached and how I can tighten it?

thanks

Kevin

Kevin, I happen to have a brand new 1998 starboard side window. My port side window shattered, and I could only order them in pairs if I wanted to get it fast. If your interested, $200.00 plus shipping. I live in N.Y. if it helps. Steve

Kevin,
On the outside of the window frame at the bottom is a long rigid plastic or rubber strip than runs the span of the window frame. Pry that out with a thin flathead screwdriver. That will expose the inner frame. There are several screws along the length of the window frame that attach the window frame to the fiberglass. Tighten those. However, don't be surprised if the screws have snapped. If so, just get some extra stainless screws and drill new holes through the frame and reattach. Thats what I did with my windshield on my 192 tournament. Take it apart and you will understand the fix. Use 3m 4200 on the screws before you install them. Good luck, and don't be afraid to tackle the project! :D
