84Offshore, How's it going? I would bet that a man of your boat talent can make that hartop work well on your boat. I would think that those two year models might be pretty similar around the cockpit. It will no doubt be a whole lot easier than the I/O engine change that you did earlier! 8)

i put one off an 89 on my 81...I think the 81 and 84 are the same.the front legs need to be about a foot longer..i used a smaller pipe and made a sleave for the foot and cross brace. this let me adjust the hight to make sure the canvas match up .

Hi Tim, I was actually going to do the same thing you did!!

But the top sold for alot more than I wanted to spend......:(
