I currently own a '84 241 Offshore. Been searching for a Hardtop for years.
Found a donor '87 241 Offshore w/ a hardtop being parted out..........made an offer and the marina accepted.
Question: will the hardtop from the '87 fit the '84?........I think the answer is yes

Can't imagine why it wouldn't. I don't think there were any major hull changes in such a short time-span, was there? Take a look at the brochures on Grady's site and compare the two. And/or take measurements of the mounting points and compare to your boat. I'd be surprised if it didn't fit, though.

Its hard to tell but often the rear supports are similar or identical but the front may be different if the windshield design changed. I would think that Grady would know if the mold used for the 84 deck is the same one used for the 87 deck. In the worst case, a fabrication shop probably can 'tune' up the support attachment points

I would recommend that you get accurate measurements of the mounting points off of the 87 (and pics) so that alignment on the 84 goes smoothly.
