Has anyone used Poly Glow?

The gelcoat on my Seafarer 228 is oxidized and needs some love. I found a youtube channel about restoring an old Grady and he sanded then used poly glow. But boy howdy the stuff is expensive. Anyone used it with success? Are there less expensive alternatives? What do the wise folks here use? Thanks

Used it on a Parker 10 years ago and it looked great for a season or two, but the finish became oxidized and really difficult to remove. I was able to remove most from the cockpit and topside during the season but the hull was only able to be removed by a wet sanding. I don't recommend it at all.

I've been using Collinite Fleet Wax followed up with their Insulator Wax on top of everything.

What to use depends on a few factors, the main one being how bad/deep the oxidation is. The goal is to use the least abrasive product that will remove the oxidation. Don't wet sand if you can remove the oxidation with a less aggressive compound.. Experiment with a medium grit compound and see how it looks, Follow with polish and finally wax. I like Colonite products as well as Total Boat products ( like Total Buff). I think the less expensive products are OK for compounding, buffing, and polishing If you feel the need, try the more expensive wax products.
For years I used Gary's Royal Satin a one step cleaner wax. It works well but as I get older I leans more to liquid products and not pastes
