Hey guys- It's time to replace the headliner in my 2001 228. The monkey fur is still holding up quite week but the vinyl fabric they used is de-laminated and hanging down. I've taken the piece off but need to order the perforated vinyl fabric and replace.
So a couple questions-
1)any recommendations on where to get that off-white vinyl fabric for the recovering job?
2) also need some thick 2 sided tape strips to reattach-where to get?
3)and last- when I glue the fabric onto the backer board I want to ensure that it doesn't leak through the fabric and discolor the white vinyl. Looks like many have completed this project but please point me in the right direction if you have any guidance before I place order and begin this project.
