Helm Master Safety Light Replacement

Has anyone replaced the transom mounted amber lights that turn on when the Helm Master joystick is engaged? I'm looking at an Express 330 that has one burned out and am wondering if access and replacement is manageable or it it's akin to accessing the UW lights?

It's a 2018. It has the transom mounted amber lights. I'm hoping there is enough slack in the wire to allow the connections to be made external to the hull.
