hello, i need a few of these " sunken flush nuts " and cant seem to find them anywhere nor do i know what they are actually called. they are on all the acrylic hatc

Not sure if they have them but try McMaster? They usually have odd stuff.

Those are probably barrel nuts and screws. On delicate materials like plexiglass, the barrel length stops the screw head from applying to much compression of the material causing failure. They are purchased by diameter and material thickness. They are available in aluminum, stainless steel and others. Here is one good outfit that has them. The first link is to aluminum. I just pulled off those doors for a new flat panel. I MIGHT be able to give you those if I don't need them for a hinged lid I'm thinking about.

Have you tried C&G Screws Unlimited on 88 in Brick?

Kind of like a T nut or a Rivet nut

ok thanks for all the replies. they are called " binding post nuts" . i reached out to Fin Addict , the company that makes Grady's acrylic hatches .
