help water pump install 06 150 e-tec

water stream coming out on the warm side,new motor to me.any helpfull tips appreciated for install of new water pump.also would anyone know what rpm should be at w.o.t.?thanks for all responses

There is lots of discussion on WOT and prop selection over there - mostly Yamahas here.

I just received my waterpump kits in the mail for my E-Tec 200HOs but haven't installed them yet.

For mine, the thermostat temp is ~135 and the engine temp at idle is ~160 so what you are feeling may be normal.

Thank You for reply,sounds like e-tecs run warmer then yamaha's i've had in the past ?
