It's unclear what you are talking about or asking. Ca you re-explain what the exact problem is and what you are wondering about? But...
-- Are the read lights actually part of the dash, or are they part of an Evinrude gauge?
-- Since you seem to be positive about the lower light, then that is not a problem, right? Since it probably means that the bilge pump was running because the water in your bilge was collecting at the back (angle of the boat while getting on plane) of the boat. When backed down to idle, the water may have moved forward. How sure are you that there is no water?
-- Could the lower light be for low 2-stroke oil in a reservoir? You mentioned it's got oil, but maybe it's just low enough that the angle of the boat changed the fluid level. Do you have one or two oil tanks? If two, what oil tank are you talking about?
-- What is a tell tale plug? The tell tale/pisser shouldn't have a plug in it.
-- What does your last sentence reference (?it?) and what are you asking?

They are part of the instrument cluster which came with the boat.

The bottom light is on steady while the bilge pump is in action. Goes off when the pump goes off. How am I sure? I looked.

Boat has one tank, and its 3/4 full. 2 stoke oil.

The Evinrude description is an overboard indicator plug. It is the threaded plug, with a nozzle in it, which indicates water passing through the system
-- What does your last sentence reference (?it?) and what are you asking?[/QUOTE] I have sinced talked to a Evinrude tech, and he said this model SHOULD have a very strong flow. It actually blasts out a pocket in gravel. I had been warned not to run the motor without the 'plug/nozzle' in place, because it was necessary to provide back pressure to the top end of the motor for proper cooling.
My question, is, why are these two lights flashing when I go over 2500 rpm? The horn, which is the only warning on a 93, is not sounding, and it works because I get the chirp when I turn the key on.
I am beginning to think this is an electrical issue, but it is interesting how its consistant with going over 2500, and goes off when I return to idle.
Thank you for your response and please forgive me for not being more clear
