Strange question but does flushing your outboard with to high of pressure cause any harm? 3 times I’ve ran the hose fully open on the flush port “02 ox66 250” and have been wondering why the pee stream is so strong with some water coming back out the connector, Seems like my Marina re did the dock hoses, Just realized this but motor runs good with new impeller

Maybe your hose connection has a leak/isn't tight... does it have the washer in there? There shouldn't be any leaking - but as to your question, no, there's no problem as to what you asked about.

I assume you are flushing using the flush hose port and that the motor is not running.
If so, I don't see any problem. The question has more to do with the volume of water and not the pressure. The volume depends on the source volume flow, size of hose yo use and the length of the hose.

As mentioned, you shouldn't see water coming out of the flush port connection. Check the washers and fitings.

Thanks, I keep the motor off and I do need to check the fitting but seals good under normal motor operation

Have the yellow rubber piece in there, seals good under normal motor operation but I should check
