How do you dock your Sailfish..?

No. The parralel park is easier with ob's, there's no wind/correct to ruin your day, and while she will turn a tight 180 just not that fast.

Although many suggest that you practice in open water with little wind or current, you really need to understand how the winds and currents affect handling. Although winds abeam will 'push' the vessel sideways or start a rotation, I find that the most challenging conditions for my boat are winds straight on the bow and of course strong winds from the dock side. The bow on winds causes the boat to rotate off of center and in either direction depending on the angle of the bow. If wind direction is off the dock, it helps to make a more angled approach to try to pin the bow to the dock before it starts to rotate. Using dock side motor rev and opposing motor fwd for twins can help keep the bow straight or into the dock to counteract the wind.
As also mentioned, docking with even a small wind with all canvas up is quite different than with canvas down especially for lighter hulls.
In difficult situations, using a spring line can make an workable situation out of a tricky one.
So practice in different conditions, note the difference with canvas up and down, make a note of the wind intensity and direction and practice using spring lines ( spring lines work for un'docking as well as for docking).
Finally, if there are observers at the docks, it's OK to shout out for a hand if docking is tricky.
