Hydrofoil With Trim Tabs?

Does a hydrofoil make sense if you have trim tabs? I've always installed them on previous boats but my overnighter has tabs to i dont know if this is really an improvement or not.

I subscribe to 'if it ain't broke, don't break it by trying to find something to fix'. If your tabs won't do it (whatever it is), a tail surely won't ... :uhm

If you are trying to get more lift in the back,you might want to go to a four blade prop if it is in the budget.

i was mainly looking for a lower planing speed. I'm just doing some preliminary research. ive liked them on my previous boats for this reason but they didnt have tabs.
