Hello :

I'm trying to figure out how long the hoses should be without removing the older hoses.

we ordered a new '09 suzuki 300 for our '93 Gulfstream 230, and also want to get a new Uflex kit !!

But I have no idea how long the hoses should be

I want to order this asap, and hope someone can chime in fast !!

EDIT :
I spoke with Grady Today, and they said back in '93, they used copper tubing from the Helm pump, and then a short run of H/P Hose to the cylinder.
He also said they don't use that copper anymore, and that 22-24' of H/P hose would work.
I ordered a new Uflex Kit with 24' of hose !!

Thanks,
Bill

I was going to suggest 22', they beat me to it...

Hi Bob !

I know it will be a bit long, but I planned on coiling it. I wouldn't have ordered a new steering system this year, but what I have is missing a few pieces,so it made sense to get a new and better system.

the Glass shop did a nice job on the transom, and pulpit. There wasn't any core damage in the transom, but the pulpit needed filler and glass work.

thanks again !
