INAVx software for IPAD

Anyone using this as a backup GPS/Nav system onboard?
The reviews seem pretty good. Any thoughts?

The IPAD screen would be better than a Garmin handheld, etc.

I am using an iPad with iNavX as my second plotter on my 330. It is being fed positioning and depth data from my Furuno NavNet, heading info from my Simrad autopilot and AIS data from a Standard Horizon VHF combined by a ShipModul multiplexer through a Portable Pilot Solutions Yacht Server W http://pilotplug.com/yachtserverw.h...ets washed out in bright sunlight.[img][/img]

That is very neat!
I thought I was onto something by using the Navionics app on my iphone in an otter case next to my 7" raymarine A series as a backup. I would like to know the best way to back up waypoints on my phone, would like to get away from having any of my fishin numbers stored on board.

Wish I had the real estate on the dash.
