Interior Panel Grady White 232

Hi All,

Searched the forum bit, didn't find a solution to the issue I'm having. There's an interior overhead panel that has lost adhesion. I took the panel down and removed the adhesion tape and as much of the contact cement as possible, replaced the vinyl covering over the plastic panel and reattached with the most adhesive double sided tape and contact cement I know of. It lasted about a year with the boat on a lift. Very hot conditions seem to have defeated my work.
Has anyone got a lasting solution to re-attach the panel?

What kind of contact cement? Spray or brush on?

Hi,
I used industrial 3M spray on contact cement for the naugahyde and double sided adhesive tape to attach the overhead panel. The tape was the same as used for automotive moldings. The tape is the failure point.
