Tough 5-weeks in Islamorada. SE wind great for the beach not so good for fishing. Last fishing day of the trip I recruited my wife to fish as sole angler on the NW wind with live goggle eyes (off kites). Two sails and four big blackfin. Awesome last day. Now she likes "catching" and I have to teach her the "fishing" part.
We had four more blackfin and two dolphin on the troll that month. Lots of mangrove and yellowtail snapper on the reef.
