I sold my old boat (Boston Whaler) and hope to join the GW fraternity soon.
I'm looking at some mid-80's Tournaments in the area. And I'm hoping that some of you can give me some pointers for when I go to check out a prospective purchase.
Aside for checking the hull for de-lamination and checking for a rotted transom/stringers, is there anything else that older GW's are known for? Also, is there some what of getting a direct look at the stringers or is hopping up and down on the deck my only bet?
