just paid $6.79 for fuel (100LL Avgas) at our local airport, can $6.00 for marine fuel be ahead this summer?

I'm lucky in that I get gas delivered right to the house and it's usually about .40.70 a gallon cheaper than the fuel docks on the ICW down here in Lauderdale. I had 120 gallons delivered in early Dec for $3.05.......

Higher no doubt today, but whatever the price, this will always be the cheapest for me.....

Hi, sounds like you have a great setup and better weather. Florida gas prices always seem lower than up here in the Northeast. Last time I was in St Lucie County Airport gas for the return trip was $1.33 less than I had paid for the trip down.

I can tell you that the single most reason I have resisted the urge to move up in boat size is the uncertainty of how high the cost of fuel will go. I could always find a good deal on a used Gulfstream or Sailfish. The problem is the cost of operating it at 4-6 dollars a gallon.
Paying $800-1000 to fill up is out of my league. :jaw

I heard rumors of possible $7 gas coming real soon.........thats a $2100.00 fill up. :-| :bang :jaw

since $7.00 Gas would instantly bring the economy to a halt, the price would then instantly drop just as it did when the 2008 financial mess hit. Price may go up but I would not worry about $7
