Kicker motor for Freedom 255

Hi All
It has been a while since I have been to the site and after 8 years of owning our 255 I still would like to mount a kicker motor on her. We have a single Yamaha 300 hp on her and it trolls great but have always wanted a kicker and the new Yamaha 25hp long shaft looks interesting. Has anyone mounted a kicker on their 255?? If so would like the details on how and what motor you installed.

I think that is a great idea. Piece of mind with the redundancy and could be used for fishing or near beach activities.

I had a kicker om my Seafarer years ago, it was a 9.9 it worked great. The key will be the bracket you put on her. I agree with Fishtails, peace of mind is a good thing.
