I have been offered a free 9.9hp kicker that needs new reeds.
I am going to take it try to fix it for this fall trolling,
I dont really want to mount a jack mount on the boat transom for it if i dont have to. I removed my swim step after I lost my first bass in the spring to it along with a 50$ spoon . So I dont want another thing that is going to get in the way.
Can I just clamp this thing on to the transom next to the big one? Provided it does not get in the way with steering or would that be a dangerous move?.
