Anyone upgrade to an LED anchor light? I figure it'll run all night without worry of draining the battery. My boat has the Perko that goes into the windshield mount. Does Perko make a new OEM one or should I just find a marine LED replacement bulb?

I just put one in. They are made by Dr.LED and available through West Marine for most Perko anchor lights. Mine uses P338 Wedge MFG Bulb # 338DP2CLR. West Marine Model # 14162044 Manuf. # 9000371 It's certified to 2 NM. Draws only 0.006A. $17.99 If your is a wedge type, this is probably the bulb you need. I tried a cheaper version, but it was dim. I didn't bother swapping out the running lights since the batteries are being charged when running. Hope that helps!

Perfect! That's what I need, thanks for the numbers. My owner's manual says I have a 338DP2CLR also.

Boatowners Warehouse has an equivalent for about $6.00.
My Perko has 2 bulbs and switching to LED really is a battery saver on multiday trips.
I bought an LED for the cabin domelight on ebay and it didn't last.
LEDs are getting more reliable, cheaper and brighter.

Got a pair of LED replacement bulbs for mine and they work great! 1/10 the current draw of the old ones.
