I own a 06 23' gulfstream. I want to change the lights to the blue led for the courtesy lights and i think i want to go green for the underwater lights. There is so many options out there. Looking for advise on what you guys have used with pros and cons. Do i go with the strip lighting or replace the existing housing light?

check out lumitech . their lights are multi color and change color off a basic on/off switch

I used the lumitec light bars and tied them into the perko round cockpit lights. the bars are great and waterproof. don't waste your time on strip leds or cheap lights, they just fail over time. the lights come on white or blue and you can control brightness all from the cockpit switch. I got blue leds for the perko bulbs so all the cockpit can be lit in blue. look at getting led bulbs for nav and anchor lights as well. much brighter.

I found directional LED lights at http://www.superbrightleds.com for the cockpit lights of my 27 Sailfish. They look really nice. I will be putting a new bulb in my overhead light under the hardtop.

I put 48" Blue Water LED lights from Geo Industries at http://www.geoindustries.net. Because they are such low voltage I tied them into the wiring for the courtesy lights. The strong 3M tape makes it very easy to mount. They throw plenty of light.
