275 2014 freedom ,should the overhead lite below the vhf cabinet which turns on spreader lite also turn on overhead lite to white not only red

I'm not sure if your model had white and red in the console light but it's an easy matter to just pop the lens off and you may see that the previous owner removed the white bulb or there is a burned out bulb in one socket.

Be careful prying the lens out. May have a small hole you can pull with a paper clip. No longer available so don’t break it! Electrical parts available from DigiKey. Search this forum for part numbers. Use DigiKey as search term.

Those push button switches kept failing on mine. There was a point where I just said heck with it. I called my nearest Grady dealer and I ordered what ever the new touch LED was at the time and what Grady was installing on their boats in 2017 . I paid a premium but the LED cockpit light has a variable dimmer with both red and white. The spreaders just come on. It's all solid state encapsulated so it's water proof too. One of best upgrades I have ever made.
Yes smokyMtnGrsady i was able to pick up the exact touch replacement lite for red white and spreader lites, ofcouse more money than i liked
