FREEDOM 235 OWNERS- I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE FREEDOM 235 MID-HULL COMPARTMENT HAS A 'BELLY' AND CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS GETTING LIQUID OUT OF IT. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT?? I have industrial strength cleaner trapped somewhere in the hull. The dealer used it while fixing a fuel leak they caused during winter storage. The 2023 boat and motor only have 110 hrs. of use. The cleaner appears in the forward hull compartment (not stern for some reason) after I run the boat in open water. I have vacuumed out 3-4 gallons total. The dealer feels it is the compartment shape or that the liquid has become perched somewhere in the hull lining (?).
TIA

This is not a new issue or one that is specific to 235's. Pretty much all Grady's have a forward bilge that is slightly lower than the main bilge. As you are running the boat, it's probably in the main bilge due to the angle of the boat... and then when you come back to level, it comes forward again.

Double check that you don't have any of the bilge drain pipes plugged.

There's probably any number of ways that will work - and none of them are rocket science. But, to get you going...

Easiest way is on a trailer - get the bow high and let it run out the garboard drain.

Run at a slow speed with the bow nice and high and keep pouring water into the forward bilge - it wash everything through and the main bilge pump will pump it out.

Again, nothing here is all that difficult - just figure out a way that works for you.

Great information, especially on the forward bilge, thank you.
