Live bait tank insulation

I have a 2004 Marlin and was wondering if anyone could let me know if the live bait tank is insulated making it suitable as a second cold box for ice etc. We are located in the tropical end of Australia and I'm having trouble with ice in the large rear box melting too quickly, the live bait tank when not needed for baits would make a more suitable size box for day trips if insulated.

the baitwell on my 05 330 is insulated with about a half inch of spray foam. I wouldnt say that is much insulation if hot outside. I think you would be better off to line the inside with 2" thick taped together foam pieces including a top piece for the few times you need to go out on long trips or use a separate cooler made for multiple days like a Yeti.
