Livewell on 28'3" Release

Live well over flow? To get back on topic. Did you try partially closing the valve? I noticed mine overflows as well but that was with the plug in and not the tube and the pump turned off. I didn't find the tube until I really cleaned the boat. It's under the leaning post bench pad. LOL, Besides the well was full of Blues and bass and cold water. I didn't feel like getting wet or bit. LOL I found it's a great way to bleed out the fish. I let it constantly flush and overflow and by the time I hit the dock there's no blood anywhere. I do see the problem if there are more people on the boat though. I put about 15 hours on the boat last week and love it. The wing curtains are the bomb too. Keeps the ugly water off of you. Well let me know your outcome. And if I get out this week I will try closing the valve as well.

Yesterday I was fishing at Jessups Neck and the South ferry. I was actually goofing off and playing with the Garmin 5212. Boy that thing does alot. It has all kinds of features.

I cut the drain tube down about two - three inches. Carefully remove top Screen and put back on cut tube with PVC pipe glue. There is still plenty of water to support live bait

Thanks for the tip. Did you actually do this and it worked or is it just a suggestion?

I actually did this to my 2003 282 sailfish the first year I owned it, after suffering with your dilemma for a few weeks. . I also drilled a about 4 of 1/8 inch holes up the drain tube. This has worked great for me for 6 years. I moved up to a 2009 this past summer. I think you will be pleased with the results
