I am assuming you have the livewell option.
If so, the boat has to be in the water, the seacock has to be open( there may be more than one seacock in your bilge depending on what options you have) and the livewell pump has to powered on(switch at helm) and running.(you will be able to hear it if it is running but that doesn' talways mean the pump is good) The intake may or may not have a strainer on it. If it does, make sure it is not clogged up.
You will also need a overflow fill tube or a plug to plug up the livewell drain. Otherwise the water that goes in will just drain out.
