Looking for a 24-28ft Grady, Chase/Release center console model 24, 263, 273 or 283 from 90s-mid 2000s hull only or hull with 2 stroke(s) on it to repower. I am in Texas. My plan is to come look at the boat in person, buy it cash, and either tow it home or have it shipped. Trailer or no trailer it doesn't matter. Clear title prefered. Cheers, John

i would recommend going for 98 or newer due to the use of greenwood xl in the transom and stringers. better rot resistance.

also, atleast for the chase, look for 2000 or newer as they have the full length running surface. not only does this give more floatation with heavier 4s motors, but gives you longer hull when running

Not certain I truly want to sell my Grady, but it doesn't hurt to have a conversation. 2000 Chase 263, twin OX66 200 HP motors. I'm in FL, just north of Tampa.

Looks like the OP hasn’t been back to the site since February 15th, or almost 5 months ago now. If I were a betting man I’d say he either found a boat or has moved on to something else. Might as well make a post retirednavy and see if you get any interest. I’d say it’s the peak season for selling right now.

Thanks Mustang, was just fishing to see what he had to say, not really looking to sell right now. Maybe in the future so I can step up to a 32 or 36 foot boat.
