Hello everyone I hope someone can help me with some info on a gill bracket.
I am mounting a 27" set back gill bracket on a 22 Seafarer and need to know how high above the bottom of boat should the cavitation plate be. The motor is a 25" shaft 225HP 2 stroke Yamaha. I have heard this should be around 2"-2 1/2" above bottom of the boat., can anybody verify this.
