I have a 1991 Tournament 192 and need to replace the rub rail. I looked on the GW website for recommended replacement - they recommend TACO V11-2423 style rub rail which measures 1 7/8" tall by 1 1/16" wide. The rub rail that was original to my Grady was 1 1/2" tall by 1 3/8" wide. When I try to screw on the new 2423 rub rail, the screws don't line up on the edge of the boat and cause the rub rail to pull off on the top.

Does anyone know where you can buy original OEM Grady White rub rail? All the stores and boat shops I have talked to keep pointing me to the Taco rub rail.

Thanks. Brad

Bad news...unless you want to buy about 75' feet of rubrail, you are out of luck.

GW has switched to the SS rubrails, and in fact are now specing replacements with the SS material. I was looking at a late 90s 192 and it needs a new rubrail. GW only will make available the SS and to redo the entire boat is $450 in parts.

It's a shame....to me the SS rubrails get dented and that looks worse than the rubber rubrail...
