We are supposed to take delivery next month of our 257 Fisherman. I’m looking for suggestions on adding a few rod holders forward and also an extra pair along the gunnel for trolling. Any suggestions? Thx

Just because I'm OCD, I'd call Grady and find out who made the factory installed holders.... a new boat they would need to match. :)
I think they use Lees

Lee's Tackle - finest quality:.
Clamp on, flush mount, side mount, and swivel base types.

I added 4 clamp on mounts forward and aft on hard top frame tubing 9 years ago. Zero evidence of corrosion, pitting or staining with regular fresh water wash down

I’m not sure GW uses lees. The pin inside is riveted in place. Not the best design if you ask me. Mine have not broken but I thought it was cheap.

They aren't Lee's , they have a GW cast into them
I'm the opposite. I don't give a rats ass if it says GW.

Lee's and Tacos and Smith are all good. Gem Lux with the big nut are really nice. With no screws they give you more wiggle room in a narrow gunnel

Both my current Grady and previous 265. I added additional lee rod holders. They are basically look like Grady holders except they don’t have the Grady logo. I added an additional 15 degree between the original 2 on the gunnel. Additionaly 2 clamp ons on the hardtop legs angled out for drifting.

Nice! I’m leaning toward adding one 15 degree on each gunnel. I do wis the t-top had a couple angled rod holders for drifting….
