lower unit oil

I don't know the actual amount but my 225HP OX66 uses a little more than a quart of oil. I would make sure to have more than a quart available when refilling. You don't want to have to run to the store in the middle of refilling.
 
If you're not already, use the pump with threaded fitting on fill hose to refill from the bottom. Much easier, neater and allows you to tell more accurately when the LU is full when clear lube runs out the top hole.
 
I just did my OX66 250 for the first time, used the pump and cap setup for a quart bottle. Simple, and clean. I used about a quart, or a drop or so more.
 
I looked it up, 33.1 ounces seems to be the amount.
 
As stated in an earlier reply, make sure you have more than one quart on hand when you begin this process. :lol:
