Marlin 300 AC

I just purchased a 2000 Marlin 300. I am looking for the air conditioning unit. I have read some posts saying it is in the aft birth behind the port bulkhead wall. I removed the port side bulkhead wall in the aft birth and there is a water heater. It appears from the air duct as though the ac unit might be behind the fridge. Any help will be appreciated before I remove more panels.

I have a 2007 Marlin, and my A/c is behind the steps down into the cabin. If it is not there, I would call Grady customer service with your hull number and ask them. Good luck.

In mine it is behind the refrigerator on a 1998 marlin.

I guess I'm a little late to the party since you already found it, but the easiest way to locate it is to just look for the return grate.
