Everything went according to plan for the most part and so far im pleased with the result. Just have to smooth out a few rough edges.

Nice job Bob... let us know how it works out this summer!!

By the way... do you know where they located your thermostat sensor? When I bought my boat I can remember they were still playing with locations. I have a feeling mine is low in the cabin and I haven't searched for it yet... my unit cuts off when it has cooled down the lower 4' - 4.5' of air space.

Thanks Joe...

Im pretty sure the thermostat sensor is located at the A/C units return under the stairs.

If it's in the return that's part of the problem... I'm going to look for it this season and see if I can relocate it to a higher point.

That's a pretty good idea. Here in FL and in the Bahamas it would be a nice perk to have some cool air in the cockpit, particulay at the dock.
