Hi all,

I'm painting some accessories (and maybe my old, faded 'duratrim') to match the 'Grady White Blue' of the stripes and decals on my Adventure. Anyone have suggestions on how to match the color? Does GW share the exact shade of blue they use, or is there a paint brand known for getting the match right?

Thanks!
Syman

Contact one of them people selling "OEM" replacement decals. They could probable give you the color code. I purchased mine (custom color though) from someone on ebay. He was a good guy he might help you out if you ask.

I picked up a can of Navy Blue spray paint from Lowes and it is a near perfect match.

Thanks fellinger,

I bet you're referring to Dave! Yes, I bought my decals from him too. I'll ask him.

Hi everyone,

Here is the reply from Dave, whom I would recommend to anyone looking to replace decals or registration numbers in matching colors:

"Yes, Take a piece of the stripe and bring it to any HOME DEPOT or LOWES store and they can match the paint to the stripe. Use a good oil base paint or urethane paint on them. Do not use latex paint as it will peal off the Duratrim. I have even found some Krylon enamel spray paint that is a close match. Krylon 51907 Navy Blue."
