I have a 209 Escape w/ F225. I just did total refit to boat and shed a fair amount of old wiring, weight ect. and I am going to reprop. Does anyone have a feel for the difference in WOT RPM"s beteen the Mirage Plus 15 1/4 x 19 versus Yamaha SSII 15 1/4 x 19??? I figure that I will loose some RPM's going to the Mirage Plus but I would like to get a feel for how many. I would like to turn at the upper end of the RPM range and don't want to risk lugging the engine with the Mirage Plus 19. Thanks.

I don't think you will lose rpm, but you will likely gain speed and revs.

I changed the 17" SWSII prop on my 205 with F200 to a 17" Mirage plus. The Mirage plus gives better bow lift, midrage efficiency and top speed.

On my 205 I turn right at 5900-6000 WOT at 43+- mph full of fuel. Just under 4mpg at cruise.

I also ran Mirage pluse props on my 232 and 208 with improved performance over SWS props. (232 actually had the black steel props which were really bad.)
