Tilex mold and mildew spray is the same as this product and less costly. Most of the marine cleaners on the market are re-packaged household cleaners that come with a premium price tag because the label says “marine”.Just ordered this. Exactly the advice I was hoping for from this forum. Thank you, folks!
Soft Scrub... "with bleach"?just finished with Soft Scrub on my caulking. Put on and left overnight. Black completely gone.
Do you know if there is a way to buy just a single use amount of this anywhere? Amazon only sells it in packs of 12. Do the dealership carry it?Awesome...I can't wait to try the SS this season. I hate that F'in mold.
FWIW...Nautical One worked great on my cushions, but didn't do anything on the sealant.
PSA - Grady uses GE silicone caulk. SCS1700 - Almond
Home Depot, LowesDo you know if there is a way to buy just a single use amount of this anywhere? Amazon only sells it in packs of 12. Do the dealership carry it?
THIS WILL DO IT…I TRIED A BUNCH OF THINGS ON BATHROOM TUB CAULKIING ..BLEACH SOAKED PAPER TOWELS OR TP LEFT ON OVERNIGHT DOES ITMake a slurry of common powdered cleanser containing bleach (Comet etc) and slop it into the joint. Let it sit for a couple of days and keep it wet. Then rinse well.
YES! This absolutely works in 24 hours. Caulk looks like new. Put a strip of masking tape down each side of caulk joint, applied bead of Soft Scrub and covered with another strip of masking tape to keep Soft Scrub from evaporating. This is the only method I have found that works on the tough stains.
