I recently got a boat that has it's all round white light pole mounted in front of the radar about 6 inchs...is this o.k.
I can probably move it to the rear...is this acceptable?

Is the light above the radar?

I'm not sure if i understand...the light is 3/4 pole 25" high...mounted 6inch's in front of the radar....can I leave it there or should I move it behind the radar...towards the rear of the boat

Richmake - I answered your PM.

What's your concern, blocking the radar or the correct position for the white nav light ?

As long as it's easily visible all the way around the boat you're OK. It shouldn't effect the radar.

I think I got the answer I need.
The light is mounted in front of the radar 6 inches and is high enough to see all the way around the boat.
I guess I thought that if the pole was mounted in front of the radar...somehow the radar would read it or effect it...
should be alright!

I think behind the radar is the most common and more acceptable location for the all-around light. Since forward view is the most important, (not that it will interfere) I wouldn't want to chance it. If it's not a big deal, I'd put it behind the radar.
