I have 1993 Seafarer 22, I know I have to keep bulb horizontal, but this will keep it out of elements, Any thoughts? Thanks

I have my (now single) Primer Bulb inside hatch and between Fuel tank feed line and Water Seperator filter. Two lines (with anti-syphon Check Valves) out to Main Engine and Kicker.
