Well after a long wait, over 6 months from deposit to build, the carport is up!
:praise
No more snow, rain, acorns, leaves, sticks, etc... crapping up the boat between outings and I have a dry place to tinker on it year round.
Bout time!
Mike

Looks good. Should make keeping it clean much easier.....

I've seen over the years that things get wrecked not so much from use but from storage. There is also a lot of time spent reversing and preventing the harm done.
This cost me $4,000 out of my retirement savings but will save me time and worry.
I figure it's 2G's for the boat and 2 for the camper to keep them safe.
Doesn't sound so bad that way.
It has enough room to walk around and work on both which is good as I have to repair holes in the campers roof where falling sticks had pierced it like arrows! :bang

I had a shed built for my last boat at my place in SC. Was great to have it sheltered from the weather. Well worth the investment.

That's nice!
I would have gone with a lower smaller unit if it was just the boat.
The camper was getting ruined without a roof over it.
With holes from the sticks and a cheap tarp (harbor freight) leaking after only a month of use and now I have water damage to repair. Bought it new in '04, used it only maybe 6 times as we had no time when I was working. Now that I'm retired I have to repair it to use it.
Stinks. Wish I had the funds years ago to do this.

If I remember right. Think mine was 18' wide and 15' tall with 13' door, 40' long.

I can see the issue with the sticks in your camper roof. Your shed will protect them both now. Since I've sold my place in SC and I now live in a subdivision, I'll store it in town in a warehouse, $60 a month and it's inside. Works for me until I buy another place and can keep it there.

You have to reduce the pixels down to 800 on ms paint.
I saw it by saving the pic to my phot library and viewing it there.
It is nice! No worries or winter wrap nonsense .

Thanks Mike. Been awhile since I attached a pic.
