So, while I have a lot of things to do in my shop this Saturday... heh.. my goal is to clean my workshop out and get it organized so I actually have a place to "work" vs working around stuff and looking for tools.

I am CDO... because that is the order it goes in.. heh.. and I have held off "organizing" my shop till I got the benches cut back (they were so deep I could not reach the peg board stuff)...so, they are cut back, peg boards will go on this weekend, and so then, my wife, I like to call her OCD-Goddess...will organize, color coordinate, label, and whatever else because she lives to do that stuff lol.. and thus, 95% of the things in my shop will finally find their home.. heck, so will the stuff in my garage... heh

THEN... I will be removing the lower ends of the motors and taking them inside to have the water pumps etc rebuilt/replaced. I cannot fit the entire boat inside, but I can easily back the boat in so I can get to the engines, at least :p

My goal, this month, is to:

1 - rebuild lower ends
2 - clean the outer hull and replace the decals
3 - test any water pumps for leaks (saw some water at the wiper knob)
4 - Check all electrical facets for voltage drops
5 - Re-string all fishing poles.. and arrange fishing gear.

The rest of my list, before I launch again:
1 - Replace the winch on the boat
2 - Repair/replace the brake actuator
3 - re-bleed the lines

So, plen-tay to do... and a goal :p

Don't judge.. but will show you the current workshop, just because it will look so nice when it is done ;) The goal is to get it all put away Saturday... waited this long due to the fact we kept moving stuff around, fixing things etc.. heat.. a/c.. boat.. could not get time to do it.. now.. we have time, so, finally going to set it up like we want.

Well, obviously the beer fridge hasn't been delivered yet, judging from your picture. Just don't forget to mark off the outline of the fridge with tape on the floor so it doesn't lose it's place of prominence as you organize.

lol! I sold the side-by-side and opted for a "half-fridge" not a mini, although they call it that, but a double mini? It says it uses like $17 worth of electricity a year. Clearly they do not open and close it much lol.. but, only have 100 amps in the shop so, trying to conserve and the a/c uses a lot heh

Did you build your workshop in Mine Craft?;)
Picture is much better now. Was heavily pixelated before.

hrm? I did not change the picture.. weird.. let me see if the .. wait, it is black and white.. aaahh it took a screenshot of the low stream.. sec..

Not sure why it is lower quality for you, the stream is 1920x1280 so as high quality as I can get heh. I made the image smaller to upload, but still.. it's a camera :P

Anyway, the goal is to get the pegboard up tomorrow, more the toolbox and pegboard against that wall, set the stove, and start putting everything away. We have like 250 pegboard hooks etc arriving today so, should be all ready to get it set up.

I am debating framing the rafters and adding a solarboard ceiling so I can cool it easier....looks better this way though imo.. will see.

I know the pain of not being able to get the boat in the garage!! You learn to do what you can do. As long as it's not freezing cold out, I can get in pretty good and be able to work. Just have to be careful and not raise up to quick and hit my head.

lol! Beautiful!

Same here. The door is 8ft tall, so should be able to get the engines in at least heh.

I am curious how "big" of a tow strap I can fit on my winch. I got the 5000lb one, debating if the 10k lb one with the 3300lb working load is better. Plan is to replace the whole winch next year if it needs it, but for now, trying to make it all work :P

Will see what all I accomplish this weekend. The water pump parts do not arrive till Monday :(

Don't back that baby up with a package on... or it could be double trouble..

I'm laughing because my shop has a recliner in the middle. I'm just getting around to putting up sheathing on the interior.

Not sure what you mean "with a package on"

The boat is not moving till I get the new/correct master cylinder installed.

I also need to install the new tow strap.... then plan to do the water pumps on the engine, test them at the house and make sure they work... THEN.. I will also check the electrical to see where the voltage drop is occuring.

Once that is all done, she is going to the lake again
