G'day all

Just wanted to see if anyone can tell me what this bracket is, mounted on the starboard side of the stern of my 209 Escape (see photo, 1/2" drive socket for scale). Looks like it is a standard GW fitting but who know?

Thanks and all the very best from Downunder!

Definitely a slide in ladder...and definitely not factory GW. From the factory, you would have a swim platform with folding ladder.

You guys are making these TOO easy! This one is a fender lock. If the PO left fenders, there should be a little peg tied to the end of the fender's rope that will snap into that center area.

There would be a "top cap" there. It would span the gap and screw into the two holes you see. I would contact Grady or whomever made the windshield to see if you can get it. Are you missing one on the other side, too? It wouldn't be all that hard to make one out of 1/8" stock aluminum, though. It would be a good idea to get that piece to help the structure of the windshield.

The fender lock looks to be a Taylor Made Product item. Very easy to find.
